Mori Entryway Cabinet Set
Concept Mori | Entryway Cabinet Set
Inspired by the concept of "forest," the design language of the entryway space is transformed from the warmth and order of nature.
Mori, meaning forest, symbolizes tranquility, envelopment, and layering. Through its wooden facade and delicate vertical lines, it creates a rhythmic feel like the light and shadow in a forest, allowing one to feel at ease and relaxed the moment they enter the space.
The overall design integrates hanging, storage, and shoe-wearing functions. The open hanging area on the left is convenient for daily use, while the middle section features a mirror and drawers for storage, accommodating both organization and a pre-departure grooming check. The right side uses concealed cabinets to maintain the cleanliness and consistency of the facade.
The extended seating design below provides practical functionality for putting on shoes and taking short breaks, achieving a perfect balance between functionality and aesthetics.
The overall design revolves around "wood, lines, and order," presenting a simple, understated, and everyday modern Japanese-style entryway space that establishes a relaxed yet ceremonial starting point for life.
